Overview: 
We are seeking an ABX Specialist, Public Sector to support targeted account-based programs across federal, state, local, and education segments. This role partners closely with sales, customer success, and marketing to drive coordinated engagement within priority public sector accounts. 

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working alongside sales teams to support account engagement, pipeline progression, and execution of high-impact programs. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Public Sector ABX Execution 

  • Execute account-based programs aligned to federal, state, local, and education priorities 
  • Support prioritization of accounts, personas, and plays based on pipeline and sales input 
  • Ensure execution aligns to public sector buying cycles, procurement timelines, and account needs 
  • Help activate coordinated touchpoints across events, digital, partner, and outbound efforts 

Sales & Stakeholder Alignment 

  • Partner closely with public sector sales and customer success teams on priority accounts 
  • Support account planning, pipeline progression, and deal acceleration efforts 
  • Help coordinate execution across marketing, partners, and field teams 
  • Maintain visibility into account activity, engagement, and next steps 

Executive Programs & Events 

  • Support execution of executive engagements, roundtables, and public sector events 
  • Align targeting and outreach to priority accounts and active opportunities 
  • Ensure strong coordination across pre-event, onsite, and follow-up efforts 

Insights & Performance Tracking 

  • Track account engagement, activity, and pipeline progression across target accounts 
  • Provide visibility into performance and identify areas for improvement 

  • Adjust execution based on sales feedback, engagement signals, and results 

Qualifications: 

  • 2–5 years of experience in ABM/ABX, field marketing, or sales-aligned marketing roles 
  • Exposure to US Public Sector including federal, state, local, or education 
  • Understanding of public sector procurement processes and buying cycles is a plus 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, customer success, and partners 

  • Data-driven with strong attention to detail 

 

The Salary Range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000. At AvePoint, we strive to offer competitive, fair, and equitable total rewards. The listed salary range represents a good faith estimate, with final offers based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications. The listed range reflects base salary only; our total rewards include base salary, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, unlimited PTO), and depending on the role, bonuses, commissions, or equity (RSUs).
