More about the role:

Burson India seeks a data-driven professional in Gurgaon location who can bridge the gap between traditional and social media to provide a holistic view of a brand’s standing. As an Account Manager within the Analytics team, you will be a key driver in redefining reputation as a competitive advantage for our clients. Your mission is to transform raw data into actionable insights that shape high-level communication strategies and innovative content marketing. You will act as an internal consultant, educating nuclear teams on fresh measurement methods and ensuring our global and domestic clients stay ahead of market trends.

 

What you'll do:

Data Management & Strategic Analysis

  • Insight Generation: Analyze quantitative and qualitative PR and social media data to optimize brand strategy and identify target audience behaviors.
  • Strategic Reporting: Develop and implement data collection systems and statistical techniques to provide ongoing, intuitive reports for domestic and global stakeholders.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Conduct listening studies to identify brand differentiators and monitor consumer conversations to capitalize on opportunities or mitigate potential crises.
  • System Optimization: Acquire data from primary and secondary sources, maintaining robust databases and optimizing statistical efficiency and quality. 

Innovation & Vendor Management

  • Tool Ecosystem: Create and manage an analytics ecosystem for the Newsroom, integrating existing platforms with new, cutting-edge tools.
  • Partner Evaluation: Vet software vendors and digital partners to ensure the firm’s analytics capabilities remain industry-leading.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay at the forefront of PR best practices and social media technology, acting as an early adopter to benefit client portfolios. 

Leadership & Operations

  • Work Management: Set clear objectives, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback on team results.
  • Priority Setting: Focus team resources on critical goals, eliminating roadblocks to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Client Relationship: Act with a "customer-first" mindset, building trust by using data-driven feedback to improve products and services.

 

Experience that contributes to success:

Required Experience

  • Industry Tenure: Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in the Analytics industry, specifically as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of statistics and hands-on experience using statistical packages to analyze large datasets.
  • Tool Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to master various software tools for measurement, social listening, and boolean queries.

 Key Skill Set

  • Analytical Rigor: Exceptional ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Creative Problem Solving: A knack for "connecting the dots" between unrelated notions and contributing original ideas during brainstorming sessions.
