The Role:

As an Associate Automation Architect, you will have a big impact on the growth of the company because of the significant role you play in ensuring the successful adoption of Leapwork by our customers.

Your primary objectives will be to work with our Enterprise customers and help them in automation strategy, Implementation, troubleshooting, best practices, adoption of Leapwork, and as a mentor for them using your deep technical knowledge and understanding of our product.

Since Leapwork is a fast-growing company in a high-growth market space, you will be expected to be very flexible and perform a wide variety of tasks.

Role Responsibilities:

As an Associate test automation architect, you will be responsible for

  • Understand customer's requirements and purpose the best possible automation solutions to our customers
  •  Perform test automation requirement analysis, test strategy design, automation estimation, and planning prioritization, execution, automation monitoring, and control
  • Collaborate with different teams to assure architectural solutions could be suitably translated into effectual and robust implementation
  • Reviewing customer's automated test scripts, providing guidance to customers in implementing best practices, and fixing design/script issues
  • Design and develop proofs-of-concept, demo to customers, and provide the architectural guidance to the end customers
  • Assist pre-sales and sales in their client conversations in order to ensure maximum conversions and high-quality dialogue
  • Provide test automation effort estimation to our sales team and create customer implementation plans based on customer prioritization
  •  Assist customer success team to ensure product value creation by technically involved with assigned customers throughout their customer life cycle
  • Help customers in onboarding, adoption, and scaling, and getting success with the product
  • Troubleshoot complex automation issues with customers and resolve them under agreed SLA
  • Create a knowledge base, training materials, and provide community support to leads and customers
  • Ensure that customer feedback is incorporated in Leapwork
  • Engage with clients in both technical pre-and post-sales activities to ensure LEAPWORK adoption, here are the type of engagements:
    • Implementation  (Remote, when possible and On-Site, when not) - these are short/long term implementations you need to get involved time to time may be a few projects at a time remotely
    • Tech Advisory Services - “Short term implementation support” assistance calls in which we provide our view on necessary “How-To” questions
    • Health Checks - Should be formed as a checklist to be analyzed and filled in, should cover the areas of test (definitions, docs), flow(Top Level design review), Infrastructure, Maintainability (a maintainability qualifier should be defined) and the result will be presented as a professional document detailing current status and recommendations. Most probably an on-site activity.
    • Flow Reviews - this is a detailed flow review as a service aiming to check Best Practices compliance and coverage
    • Workshops - Roadmap presentations, Best Practices presentations, presentation in user groups, expo
    • Upgrade Readiness  - Analysis of an existing system to prepare a LEAPWORK upgrade

Technical Qualifications/ Role Requirements (Must - Have Skills):

  • Minimum 8+ years of proven, relevant Automation Experience.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Architecture and IT systems and value-based selling
  • Working Knowledge on Automation Frameworks, test automation strategy, automation effort estimation, and test automation prioritization
  • Excellent Leadership and convincing skills, ability to lead a small team from time to time
  • Working Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium Web Driver/VSTS/UFT/Any RPA tools etc.
  • Knowledge of at least one programming knowledge like C#/Java/Python
  • Should possess good presentation and excellent communication skills
  • Be experienced with agile, DevOps processes, source control, database, and CI/CD implementation
  • Having knowledge of tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Team City, Azure, etc. is a plus.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred.
  • Comfortable with both national and international travel -Willingness to travel 50-70%
