More about the role:

 

Associate Director, Digital Communications will serve as the overall project manager of accounts, responsible for managing consulting personnel, budgets, and account profitability; driving new business development across various industry sectors; and contributing strategically to the overall growth and development of Burson Thailand.

What you'll do:

 

Client Service

  • Lead digital marketing & communications strategy and best practices across various platforms and social communities
  • Develop and implement creative and highly measurable digital marketing & communication programs or campaigns for several high-profile clients while tracking progress with regular reporting on engagement, conversion and traffic growth
  • Research and identify key influencers, KOLs, and associated communities for digital marketing & communication campaigns
  • Analyze reports identifying rooms for improvement and opportunities to ensure the success of a campaign
  • Propose and measure KPIs and ROI
  • Supervise production team or suppliers
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices

Business Development

  • Develop leads for new business
  • Work with Managing Director and New Business Development Director to identify growth areas and expand business
  • Grow existing client business
  • Embed digital marketing & communication tools in business development pitches and presentations, assemble pitch team, and strategies for proposals
  • Coach junior team members in business development skills

Strategic Counsel / Advice / Creative Inputs

  • Offer strategic counsel to clients’ senior management
  • Play an integral role in clients’ social media crisis or issues management
  • Conduct digital marketing & communication training for clients
  • Play a central role in developing digital communication strategies and proposals, and recommending creative directions/ solutions to help clients achieve their objectives
  • Develop and build online media and influencer relationships

Account Management

  • Provide accurate budget estimates using the Burson Estimator for projects and retainer accounts
  • Manage and track all client budgets to prevent over-servicing
  • Develop and build client relationships

Project / Team Management

  • Responsible for overall successful management of projects or retainer accounts
  • Responsible for assembling the “best team” to service a project or retainer
  • Efficient use of budget allocations to ensure the profitability of account/project
  • Manage, coach and train junior or new members of the project team
  • Play mentor to newcomers
  • Ensure that all outputs by team members meet Burson standards, client requirements and deadlines
  • Day-to-day liaison with clients
  • Develop, build and manage client relationships
  • Manage dynamics of your teams
  • Look after professional and emotional welfare of team members
  • Conduct performance appraisals of team members

Contributing to the Management of Burson Thailand

  • Contribute actively to the management of the Bangkok office including staff development and digital marketing & communication trainings, recruitment and confirmation of new staff, identification of growth areas for digital PR services etc
  • Support the managing director in charting out business strategies and realizing set business goals
  • Manage and oversee Burson social media channels to promote the strong reputation as well as attract new prospects

 

Experience that contributes to success:

  • 10 years up of experience in digital marketing, media planning, and optimization, especially in B2C sectors
  • Possess a working background in an agency with a proven track record in advising and servicing leading global brands
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Suites (social analytics), Hootsuites, and Mailchimp, etc.
  • Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • Be a self-motivator as well as team-motivator
  • Experience in SEO is a plus
