Automated Tester Experienced

We are seeking a highly experienced  a Experienced Automated Tester with a strong background in digital analytics QA to validate tracking implementations across websites and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data collected through tools such as Adobe Analytics and ObservePoint, across multiple environments.

This role involves validating dataLayer setups, inspecting network calls, performing user acceptance testing (UAT), and supporting production troubleshooting. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to guarantee that digital tracking is implemented correctly and supports key business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated regression tests to monitor analytics implementations across web and mobile environments.
• Validate analytics data for new features including tracking of eVars, props, and events based on Adobe Analytics standards.
• Conduct UAT by collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data flows accurately reflect business requirements.
• Test dataLayer implementations, ensuring values are correctly populated on relevant pages and user interactions.
• Inspect and verify network requests (e.g., Adobe/Meta pixels) using ObservePoint, Web Inspector, and browser developer tools.
• Validate redirects and page transitions, ensuring Adobe Visitor ID (mid) and other data persist across navigation flows.
• Monitor live sessions using tools like Adobe Debugger to confirm proper parameter firing and payload integrity.
• Log and track bugs related to data issues such as missing or duplicated tracking.
• Support QA sign-offs during release cycles by ensuring all analytics tags are firing correctly.
• Assist in production issue resolution, performing root cause analysis on tracking or reporting anomalies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA, with a focus on digital analytics validation.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Analytics and tagging best practices.
• Hands-on experience with ObservePoint and network traffic inspection tools.
• Familiarity with data layers, visitor IDs, and cross-platform testing.
• Comfortable working with web and mobile applications in staging and production environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
