About the Role

The Channel Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing regional marketing strategies and programs that drive business growth for Veeam’s ecosystem of channel, service provider, and alliance partners. This role bridges the gap between corporate strategy and local execution, ensuring impactful partner enablement, demand generation, and integrated marketing plans that support Veeam’s sales and business objectives. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, results-driven, and capable of both strategic planning and hands-on execution. 

What You’ll Do

  • Define and execute marketing strategies and action plans for Veeam’s partners (resellers, service providers, alliances), aligned with field sales and business goals. 
  • Build and execute regional marketing programs to drive partner business growth and achieve sales targets. 
  • Lead partner marketing enablement, supporting in-country teams and the broader partner ecosystem with frameworks, tools, and best practices. 
  • Plan and implement programs to increase partner and end-user engagement, including community building, events, promotions, incentives, and digital campaigns. 
  • Support partner recruitment and onboarding, creating activation and growth plans to maximize success within Veeam’s solution portfolio. 
  • Provide templates and guidance for countries to run local to-partner and through-partner campaigns focused on customer journeys and opportunity generation. 
  • Organize regular business updates, technical sessions, and webinars for the partner community. 
  • Optimize internal and external communications, including community management and coordination with marketing and channel sales teams. 
  • Enable partners and internal teams with relevant content, tools, and resources to maximize marketing impact and sales opportunities. 
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives (events, campaigns, webinars, incentives), optimizing for business outcomes. 
  • Ensure clear communication and integration of partner marketing plans across field, regional, and global teams. 
  • Manage the partner marketing budget to support strategic priorities and maximize ROI. 
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement, sharing best practices and learnings across teams and geographies. 
  • Support the growth and adoption of new Veeam offerings (including SaaS and cloud services) through targeted marketing and enablement activities. 
  • Execute operational marketing tasks such as campaign management, event/webinar setup, content coordination, email marketing, social media, and proofing. 

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in partner, channel, or alliance marketing, ideally within the IT, cloud, or data protection industry.
  • Solid B2B marketing background, with demonstrated success in developing and executing regional strategies and programs that drive business growth.
  • Experience with field-based marketing and/or working with resellers, service providers, or technology alliances.
  • Understanding of the cloud, managed services, and partner ecosystem is highly desirable. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Strong project management skills; able to manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; can present effectively to internal and external audiences. 
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills; able to work across functions, cultures, and geographies. 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to prepare actionable reports and insights. 
  • Proficiency with marketing automation, CRM, and general office productivity tools. 
  • Ability to work independently and proactively drive initiatives under deadline pressure. 
  • Willingness to travel as required within the region.
