ABOUT THE ROLE
This internship provides students with an opportunity to be a member of our multi-disciplinary communications team and part of brand, marketing and business development (BMBD). You’ll work under the leadership of our Director of Communications to support the creative execution of our firmwide community strategy to help advance and amplify key messaging at the brand, firm, regional, market and practice levels.
 
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Content Creation: Assist in the development of high-quality, high-impact deliverables, including journalistic writing and storytelling that balances brand positioning with engaging narratives.
  • Digital Ecosystem Support: Support the firm’s digital communications ecosystem, including social media, internal news platforms and the external website. 
  • Brand Voice: Help maintain and influence a consistent brand voice across all internal and external platforms and forums.
  • Project Support: Assist with the execution of firmwide communications plans and special initiatives as assigned.
  • Multimedia Assistance: May assist with digital assets, including basic coordination for photography or video production efforts.
  • Team Collaboration: Attend team meetings and participate in brainstorming sessions for creative campaigns.
  • Administrative Support: Perform other duties as required to support the efficiency and innovation of the communications practice.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.
  • Writing Skills: Strong grasp of journalistic writing, storytelling and grammar.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Familiarity with digital communication tools and social media platforms is preferred.
  • Aptitude: A proactive and responsive approach with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Strategic Thinking: An interest in brand positioning and how communications can advance firm-wide strategy.
The salary range for this position to be filled in our New York City office is $26.25 - $29.25 per hour. This is the anticipated salary range at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level of selected candidate. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
