Job Description:
In this part-time position as a Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the full lifecycle of company contracts. This includes negotiating and administering prime contracts, subcontracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), teaming agreements (TAs), and contract modifications. You will ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate risk, and maintain accurate documentation while supporting timely and effective contract execution. In this position, you will also:
- Develop and manage NDAs, TAs, and subcontracts with teaming partners and subcontractors.
- Ensure all contractual agreements comply with FAR, DFARS, and all applicable regulations and company policies.
- Manage contract kick-offs, ensuring stakeholders understand roles, responsibilities, and timelines within 24 hours of contract execution.
- Handle contract modifications, ensuring timely and accurate updates to terms and conditions.
- Monitor funding levels and Period of Performance (PoP) to prevent performance or billing risks.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and compliance risks.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready contract documentation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business development, HR, finance/accounting, legal, and project teams.
- Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.
- Ensure timely responsiveness to internal and external stakeholders (within 24 hours).
- Execute NDAs within 24 hours, TAs within 48 hours, and subcontract actions within established timelines
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in contracts management within the government contracting sector.
- 3+ years of experience interpreting and applying FAR and DFARS.
- 3+ years of experience negotiating and administering prime contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, and teaming agreements.
Desired Skills:
- Proven ability to manage contract lifecycle activities with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
- Experience monitoring contract funding and managing incrementally funded contracts.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across stakeholders.
- Proficiency in contract management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Unanet Contracts Management Module.
- Strong financial acumen and/or financial analysis experience.
- CPCM, CFCM, or similar certification are desired, but not required.
