You Are:

The Defense Growth Executive will lead the vision, development and implementation of analytics and technology solutions to address mission readiness challenges. You will drive cross-functional collaboration to execute growth strategies. The Growth Executive will have extensive experience and knowledge of the Federal Defense ecosystem, including trends, challenges, major players, and market dynamics. They understand and can deftly navigate the federal landscape by leveraging key relationships, setting the stage for opportunities that enable Accenture to help improve the quality of growth strategy and design.

The Work:

  • Keep the AFS Senior Leadership informed of progress on key growth initiatives, as well as significant risks and issues within the portfolio of projects and programs.
  • Produce and grow 3–5-year market position across current and future work
  • Implement our overall growth strategy by engaging with senior leaders
  • Drive and support initiatives to enhance AFS participation in key industry forums
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships
  • Develop and foster stakeholder relationships across the client ecosystem
  • Provide go-to-market thought leadership through lessons learned, stakeholder management, and industry expertise
  • Provide QA of inflight programs to confirm alignment with mission goals and help to craft materials to better market successes
  • Align our capability to our investments
  • Provide thought leadership, guidance, and mentorship for people managers, technical leaders, and business leaders within the organization

Here's What You Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 20+ years of industry experience
  • 10 years of executive leadership of increasing larger P&L focused on the Federal Defense and/or Intel clients
  • 5+ year leading development and implementation of analytics and technology solutions to Federal Defense and/or Intel clients
  • Experience with large scale P&L management (excess of $100MM)
  • Track record of building high performing teams and successfully

  • Motivated and proactive, with a desire to understand and address complex areas
  • Experience leading offensive and defensive practices is recommended
  • Exceptional in conceptualizing, architecting, and articulating security solutions for the world’s largest and most complex environments
  • Proven ability to influence at the practice and firm level
  • Committed to building and maintaining a consistent compliance program
  • Curiosity for learning about new technology, industry best practices, and areas of risk, analyzing and turning new insights into concrete action
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering tangible outcomes for customers and stakeholders
  • Excellent people management and relationship development skills
