Role Purpose & Contribution:
As our Design Engineer, you will be our inhouse expert to design, develop and provide engineering services for the Marketing & Technology products. You will especially bring your expertise and design knowledge of all Mineral Processing products and help us meet the customer expectations and deliver outstanding results.
You will ensure the provision of specialized engineering solutions and bring quality products to market quickly aligned with the business strategy and customer needs. This role will be based in the Mineral Processing division focusing on the development of Fixed Plant Products; specifically chutes and mills.
You will be a hands-on and solution focused engineer who will perform solid modelling, detailed drafting, analysis/simulation, site based reverse engineering and other technical requirements for product offerings for Bradken and continually contribute to better output that meets the customer expectation.
You will have a naturally collaborative style of working and will build customer and stakeholder relationships that facilitate their involvement in testing and validation of new products, solutions and services to provide Bradken with a market advantage.
Always seeking opportunities for improvement, you will design, develop and customise products and service offering that are fit for purpose for our customers and provide the highest standard of technical support on an ongoing basis.
You are a problem solver who will assist with product failure investigations and provide feedback and opportunities for improvement of product in line with internal standards. As a data-driven and detail-oriented engineer, you will conduct analyses using hand calculations, FEA and DEM and also ensure all appropriate checks are in place for models, drawings, analysis/simulation and other technical requirements are compliant with standards and capture (documentation) of engineering requirements accurately.
