Hillels of Georgia seeks a personable and motivated Development Officer to join our team. This mid-career role is perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships, planning meaningful gatherings, and connecting stakeholders to Jewish life on campus.
The Development Officer will primarily focus on engaging parents of current Hillels of Georgia students, as well as Jewish alumni from our network of schools. The role involves frequent donor meetings, small-scale event planning, and prospect research to grow Hillel’s development pipeline. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys meeting new people, can walk into any room and connect, and is energized by telling the story of Jewish student life on campus. The Development Officer will also support the overall fundraising efforts for Hillels of Georgia and will report directly to the Chief Development Officer.
The Development Officer will also play a key role in Hillels of Georgia’s upcoming comprehensive campaign, which will include the annual fund, a capital campaign, and a robust endowment campaign.
This position is based in Atlanta, with regular collaboration with campus teams, especially the Campus Directors. Occasional travel to visit non-Atlanta campuses, as well as other cities with large populations of Hillels of Georgia parents/alumni will be required.
