DevOps Engineer (GCP)

For one of our major e-commerce clients, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer. You will join the Insights team to maintain and evolve the alerting, logging, and metrics tools serving dozens of product teams in a high-scale GCP/GKE environment.

What you’ll do

• Manage observability tools: Evolve the ELK stack, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Own the upgrade lifecycle: Manage backlogs and promote infrastructure updates to Production.
• Ensure stability: Perform regression testing and post-deployment monitoring.
• Support teams: Triage metric/logging requests and resolve technical queries.
• On-call rotation: Join the Engineer-on-Duty (EoD) rotation to troubleshoot production issues.
• Collaborate: Work in-office in Utrecht every Thursday for team alignment.

What we’re looking for

• Senior-level experience in platform or observability engineering.
• Cloud & K8s Mastery: Proven proficiency with GCP and GKE.
• Linux Expertise: Solid background in Linux system administration.
• Observability Stack: Hands-on with ElasticSearch (ELK), Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Reliability Focus: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and production monitoring.
• Fluent English + NL residency (no sponsorship).
