Role Purpose 

Why this role matters: 
As a Digital Acquisition Director, you will lead the digital growth engine for Virgin Mobile Mexico, driving customer acquisition and revenue through high-impact performance marketing strategies. This role is critical in scaling the business efficiently, ensuring every investment delivers measurable growth while strengthening our position in a highly competitive market.

Key Responsibilities 

In this role, you will be responsible for:  

Performance Marketing 

  • Own digital acquisition strategy across paid media (Meta, Google, TikTok, programmatic) 
  • Drive subscriber growth, CAC optimization, and ROI improvements 
  • Manage performance budgets with strong discipline on attribution and incrementality 

E-commerce & Conversion Optimization 

  • Optimize digital sales funnels (web/app) to improve conversion rates 
  • Partner with product and UX teams to enhance user journeys 
  • Lead A/B testing roadmap across landing pages, checkout, and onboarding 

Data & Analytics 

  • Own marketing dashboards and reporting (CAC, LTV, ROAS, funnel metrics) 
  • Leverage tools like Google Analytics, AppsFlyer/Adjust, CRM platforms 
  • Translate data into actionable insights for growth 

Brand & Content Alignment 

  • Ensure performance marketing aligns with brand positioning 
  • Collaborate with creative teams to deliver high-performing ad creatives 
  • Maintain consistency across digital touchpoints 

Cross-functional Leadership 

  • Work closely with product, commercial, and technology teams 
  • Manage external agencies and partners 
  • Mentor and build a high-performing digital marketing team 

 

Qualifications & Attributes 

We’re seeking someone who embodies the following: 

Education: 
bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus) 

Experience: 

  • 8–12 years of experience in digital marketing, with strong focus on performance marketing  
  • Proven track record of scaling digital acquisition and driving revenue growth  
  • Experience in telecom, MVNO, e-commerce, or digital-first businesses  
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments  

Technical Skills: 

  • Strong expertise in paid media platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, programmatic)  
  • Hands-on experience with analytics and attribution tools (Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, Adjust, CRM platforms)  
  • Deep understanding of CAC, LTV, ROAS, and funnel optimization  
  • Familiarity with mobile app growth and attribution frameworks

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills  
  • Ability to operate both at a strategic and tactical level
