The Estimator, under direct supervision, is responsible for completing and evaluating bid specifications and drawings, ensuring the team has everything required to successfully bid and win the project. Estimators must aggressively follow up with subcontractors and venders to ensure quotes are received. It is essential to have the ability to take direction, work independently, and manage time effectively. Critical for success are strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.

What it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, and 3-5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Preferred: Utility Construction experience
  • Preferred: Negotiating experience
