The Executive Assistant (EA) serves as a strategic, administrative, and relational partner to the Executive Director, who also functions as Hillel at Dartmouth’s rabbi and senior Jewish educator. This role supports a leader whose responsibilities span major donor engagement, Jewish teaching, worship, pastoral counseling, community leadership, and organizational management.
The EA ensures that the Executive Director’s time, relationships, and priorities are managed with exceptional professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity, enabling the ED to focus on advancing Hillel’s mission, nurturing students, and cultivating philanthropic support.
This is a full‑time, exempt position (approximately 40 hours per week), with occasional evening or weekend hours for events.

The Roth Center for Jewish Life is located in the heart of the campus. The Roth Center offers the stunning Alperin/Kirsch Sanctuary, an open space that hosts dining, meetings, and religious services; the impressive Koreman Library; the fully functional Rauch Kitchen and stocked snack pantry; offices and classrooms; and two student lounges (Lappin and Rosen). The Upper Valley Jewish Community, a regional synagogue, is also housed in the Roth Center.
