Finance Director - Automotive Dealership

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Finance Director to become a valuable member of our thriving team.

Through strong leadership, compliance oversight and operational excellence, the Finance Director ensures the finance department supports the sales volume of the dealership, maximizes revenue opportunities and protects the dealership from risk, delivering a consistent, transparent final step in our guests’ purchase process.

The Finance Director is responsible for directing and monitoring the activities of the Finance team, establishing and monitoring performance expectations, implementing and/or supporting processes that improve deal structure, funding timelines, transactional accuracy and maximizing gross the of each transaction.

What You will Do

• Lead the Finance Department by overseeing the daily operations of the department, setting clear expectations for productivity, ethical sales practices and the guest experience.
• Drive performance by establishing strategies that maximize profitability while maintaining transparency and compliance, implementing improvements where needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders to support approvals and competitive financing options.
• Ensure compliance by ensuring the department maintains strict adherence to all required regulations, promoting ethical finance practices that protect the dealership and our customers.
• Maintain a professional, efficient finance process that supports high levels of guest satisfaction.

Who We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams in an automotive retail environment
• Strong knowledge of dealership finance operations, lender programs and deal structure
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, ethical practices and the importance of creating an exceptional guest experience

Pay: $240,000 to $336,000 / year is the expected total annual earnings after factoring in all forms of compensation including minimum guarantee, commissions, bonuses, benefits (vacation and sick), etc.  Employees in this position will be paid a minimum guarantee of $72,000 per year.  Commissions are expected to range from $168,000 to $264,00 per year based on performance.
