The GIS Analyst - Labor Relations is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing Geographic Information System (GIS) solutions that map, analyze, and visualize labor jurisdictions, agreement coverage, and workforce data. This role serves as the technical bridge between GIS functionality and labor relations needs, ensuring accurate geographic representation of labor jurisdictions, collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), wage zones, and compliance requirements. The position also assists with essential labor relations tasks such as assisting with data collection, analyzing CBA spatial data, processing CBA updates, and maintaining key union-related information. Critical for success is a strong attention to detail, analytical capability, communication skills, and confidentiality.
