About this role
Thoughtworks is seeking an adaptable and visionary Global Procurement Lead to lead our center-led function and drive strategic value across our 10,000-person global organization. In this high-impact role, you will accelerate cost optimization and operational efficiency across all regions, ensuring strategic resource allocation and maximum value from our cost base. Reporting into our Global Operations leadership, you will manage a lean, agile team and oversee our indirect procurement space—encompassing hardware, software, facilities, and professional services—while ensuring the business has the right products and services to succeed.
Job responsibilities
- Lead and drive the global Procurement strategy, directly aligning it with the company's growth and efficiency objectives, with a focus on delivering maximum value.
- Lead strategic cost reduction initiatives across the business, with a direct impact on EBITDA, identifying opportunities and driving execution to optimize financial performance.
- Develop and manage a high-performing team, focused on growth, development, and innovation, ensuring excellence in service execution across all regions.
- Own end-to-end Source-to-Contract governance, including representation at ISO and TISAX audits.
- Design and manage the governance framework for vendors, encompassing performance evaluation, risk management, and commercial optimization, ensuring compliance and strategic value.
- Drive the implementation of systems and tools that enhance visibility, automation, and performance of Procurement, boosting efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
- Embed sustainability and DEI principles across our supply chain, reinforcing company culture and values.
- Scale and optimize the function through the use of Artificial Intelligence, including automating manual processes and optimizing business experience for Source-to-Contract.
