The Government Security Personnel Specialist is responsible for providing personnel security (PERSEC) program support. Duties include, but not limited to: processing SF-86 forms, fingerprinting, maintain data in security databases (SIMS, NBIS, DISS, SWFT, ACCS, Other), Initial briefings, and Visit Requests (VRs). Will require occasional visits to local government installation for additional on-site personnel security processing. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working clearance/access operations for multi program Defense or Intelligence portfolios.
  • Experience working with government sponsors, PSOs, and industry FSOs across multiple contracts and task orders.
  • Proficiency with DISS, NBIS, SWFT, SIMS, and agency systems such as ACCS
  • Hands on experience with initial investigations (Tier 3/Tier 5), CE/CV, reciprocity/crossovers, SCI nomination/INDOC, NATO briefings, visit requests, and debriefings.
  • Working knowledge of NISP (32 CFR Part 117), DoD adjudicative guidelines, SEAD policies
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication; ability to conduct prescreening interviews, and draft clear correspondence.
  • Analytical Skills: Detail oriented; able to identify data discrepancies, assess risk indicators, and propose mitigations; comfortable with metrics.
  • Coordinate and process Common Access Card (CAC) applications, renewals, and revocations per sponsoring agency/RAPIDS requirements.
  • Review PSQs (e.g., SF 86) for accuracy/completeness against DISS profiles; coordinate SCI nomination packages; submit and track indoctrination (INDOC) requests in ACCS; ensure proper read ins and documentation.
  • Conduct structured personnel security prescreening interviews to identify potential issues, and gather clarifications before submitting for SCI Indoctrination
  • Perform and document debriefings, including termination, NATO, and SCI debriefs; ensure timely updates to systems of record.
  • Maintain accurate personnel, contract, and access records in SIMS; update contract-level access controls, rosters, and billets; reconcile discrepancies.
  • Process, validate, and submit/receive VAR  in accordance with sponsor requirements and program timelines
  • Serve as the primary POC for government security offices, program managers, and contractor FSO/CSOs on clearance/access issues.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team; assign work, monitor workload, set priorities, and manage performance.   

 What You Need:

  • US Citizenship required/Active Top Secret/ SCI eligibility required
  • FSO Program Management for Non-possessing Facilities or Possessing Facilities certificate.                                                                                                                                                  
  • Knowledge and experience using DISS, NBIS, SWFT, ACCS and SIMS
  • Must be familiar with Fieldprint
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent years experience in Personnel Security (4-5)

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:
$64,000—$109,400 USD
