Head of Operations and Delivery

The Head of Operations is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operational functions across Spektrum, including service delivery, workforce operations, talent acquisition alignment, and business support functions such as finance, compliance, and administration.  This role ensures the effective execution of the end-to-end operational lifecycle, from hiring and workforce deployment to service delivery and internal operations, enabling efficient, compliant, and scalable business performance.  The role acts as the central operational leader, ensuring alignment between teams, driving performance, and supporting the organisation’s growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end operational delivery across Talent Acquisition, Workforce, Service Delivery, and Business Support

  • Ensure alignment between hiring, workforce deployment, and client delivery requirements

  • Manage operational performance, efficiency, and scalability across all functions

  • Oversee financial operations alignment, cost control, and budget tracking

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and corporate governance requirements

  • Establish and maintain operational processes, frameworks, and standards

  • Oversee workforce planning, resource allocation, and capacity management

  • Ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery across client engagements

  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between all functions

  • Monitor and report on operational KPIs and performance metrics

  • Drive process improvement, automation, and optimisation

  • Support commercial teams with delivery feasibility and resourcing

  • Act as escalation point for operational, delivery, and compliance issues

  • Support leadership in scaling operations

Functional Areas:

  • Delivery Lifecycle Coordination
    • Oversee end-to-end delivery processes, including hiring alignment, workforce deployment, and delivery tracking
  • Operations Management
    • Manage day-to-day operational performance, including workflow management and cross-functional coordination
  • Business Support Integration
    • Align finance, compliance, and administrative functions with operational delivery
  • Workforce Management
    • Ensure workforce capacity meets delivery demand through planning, utilisation tracking, and deployment
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Maintain operational control and standards through risk monitoring, audits, and policy adherence
  • Performance Management
    • Track and improve operational outcomes through KPI monitoring, reporting, and performance improvement
  • Cross-Functional Alignment
    • Integrate Talent Acquisition, Workforce, Service Delivery, and Business Support functions
  • Process Improvement
    • Drive efficiency through process optimisation, system improvements, and automation

Requirements:

  • Education & Experience
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience), with 8–12 years of experience in operations, service delivery, or business management, including experience managing multi-functional teams
  • Skills & Expertise
    • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, experience in operational performance management, workforce planning, cross-functional coordination, financial oversight, compliance, and organisational scaling
  • Technical Knowledge
    • Knowledge of operational frameworks, service delivery models, financial management principles, governance and compliance standards, and familiarity with operational systems, reporting tools, and process optimisation methodologies
  • Right to Work
    • Candidate must have the Right to Work (RTM) in Spain
  • Citizenship / Nationality
    • Must have citizenship or nationality of one of the 32 NATO nations
