In this role, you will take on a key responsibility in working collaboratively with our procurement and culinary development, the role will share best practices, create standardized ways of working, drive thinking in food safety regarding product and supplier approval, and support various strategic projects – delivering on the Food Safety & Quality Assurance vision. As a member of our food safety team, you’ll be exposed to lean, fast-paced, and engaged QA teams across the system. Within the QA community, you’ll collaboratively work to mitigate risk and drive standards and operational excellence to ensure the consumer gets safe and high-quality ingredients., contributing to our ongoing efforts to drive business success and enhance customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do

• Working cross-functionally to conduct supplier and product onboarding, ensuring compliance with HelloFresh requirements 
• Use your expertise, and knowledge from the industry and the supply base to develop best practice quality specifications and support implementation with suppliers
• Regularly analyze customer complaint trends and work with suppliers to develop plans for improvement
• Creation of templates and procedures to support the standardized implementation of central policy
• Support the Food Safety & Quality Assurance team by conducting administrative tasks for various strategic projects. 

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related scientific field.
• Knowledge of food safety systems and HACCP principle.
• Familiarity with food labeling regulations, including EU labeling requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated individual with a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Willingness to work on a project-based contract for a duration of one (1) year.
