A full-time Housing Rehabilitation Technician I – Priority Repair Program job is available with the City of Fort Worth Neighborhood Services Department at Hazel Harvey Peace Center for Neighborhoods. The Priority Repair Program provides major system home repairs and rehabilitations for low-income, homeowner households. This position will contribute to the City’s strategic goals, mission and vision by protecting the City’s affordable housing stock and keeping low-income residents in their homes. The job entails conducting home inspections, developing work write-ups and environmental reviews, communicating with contractors, and ensuring contractor work meets quality standards. Technicians will use computers/tablets and software in the office and in the field to conduct their work.
