Key Responsibilities
Ice Production (Primary Responsibility)
- Lead daily ice machine operations
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot ice production equipment
- Supervise and coordinate a small team during ice runs
- Perform start-up, shut-down, and routine operational checks
- Identify faults and escalate issues as required
- Ensure safety, quality, and hygiene standards are consistently met
- Complete production and shift reporting
Skills & Experience
- Mechanical or technical aptitude (experience with machinery highly regarded)
- Experience leading or supervising a small team
- Ability to troubleshoot and identify mechanical issues
- Strong safety focus and attention to detail
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to be trained and take ownership of ice production
Desirable
- Background in manufacturing, food production, or cold storage environments
