We are seeking a commercially driven and strategically strong Marketing Director to lead growth and market development in Israel.

In this role, you will own the full marketing and growth agenda for Israel—shaping and executing integrated strategies that drive market penetration, customer acquisition, revenue growth, and long-term brand strength. As the senior marketing leader in the country, you will partner closely with the Country GM, Consumer Business, Finance, and cross-functional teams to ensure marketing investments are tightly aligned with commercial priorities and operational realities.

Reporting to the Global Senior Director of Marketing, this role combines strategic leadership, financial discipline, and hands-on market execution in one of our key markets, holding ownership of marketing in Israel.

Key Responsibilities

Country Growth Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and lead the comprehensive growth strategy for Israel across marketing and consumer business initiatives
  • Translate company-wide growth priorities into locally relevant plans tailored to Israel’s market dynamics
  • Act as the strategic marketing counterpart to the Country GM and local leadership team
  • Ensure strong alignment between marketing activity, commercial objectives, and operational capacity

Integrated Marketing & Commercial Alignment

  • Oversee all marketing efforts in Israel, ensuring inclusion of Wolt+, New Verticals (NV), and other relevant business lines in planning and execution
  • Partner closely with the Consumer Business team to align promotional strategy, assortment priorities, and demand generation
  • Ensure cohesive campaign planning across brand, performance, CRM, media, and partnerships
  • Balance short-term performance drivers with long-term brand and market development

Budget Ownership & Financial Governance

  • Own and manage the country growth budget with clear accountability for ROI and financial outcomes
  • Allocate resources strategically across channels and initiatives based on impact and incrementality
  • Forecast growth outcomes and align investment plans with financial targets
  • Adjust allocations dynamically in response to performance and market shifts

Campaign Execution & Performance Optimization

  • Lead execution of country-level growth campaigns across channels
  • Leverage data-driven insights to optimize acquisition, engagement, retention, and resurrection efforts
  • Monitor performance against defined KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary
  • Build structured learning loops to improve marketing effectiveness over time

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Continuously analyze the Israeli market landscape to identify growth opportunities and competitive risks
  • Translate market insight into actionable strategy
  • Anticipate shifts in consumer behavior and local category trends to maintain competitive advantage

Team Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead and mentor the country marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and experimentation
  • Strengthen collaboration between marketing, operations, finance, and commercial teams
  • Build strong local capabilities while ensuring alignment with global standards and governance

Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years of experience in marketing, growth, or commercial leadership roles, ideally within high-growth or competitive markets
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable customer and revenue growth at country level
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing and optimizing marketing budgets
  • Experience working closely with country-level leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical capabilities combined with strategic thinking
  • Ability to balance hands-on execution with long-term strategic planning
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, performance-oriented environments
