About this role
We are currently seeking a talented Junior Finance Specialist to join our team. In this role you will strengthen the finance team, support sound financial decision-making by assisting in preparing detailed reports, and budgets across departments and become a link between operational teams and finance team to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Collect and consolidate financial data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and consistency
- Work closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate data collection
- Work with the company’s budgets: gather information and assist in its cross-departmental analysis
- Maintain with complex Google Sheets - based financial models
- Contribute to the automation of budgeting and business processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or Engineering
- Proven experience working with financial data
- Analytical skills
- Google Sheets and/or Excel skills, including pivot tables, advanced formulas and tools
- Basic understanding of financial statements, such as P&L, Balance sheet, and Cash flow statement
- Ability to work with large volumes of numerical data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for data collection and providing feedback
- Flexibility to handle evolving responsibilities in a dynamic work environment
- Willingness to take on new challenges and suggest process improvements
- Eagerness to learn new financial concepts, tools, and industry trends
- A proactive approach to professional development and skill-building
- Advanced/Upper-intermediate level of English
Will be a plus
- Understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)
- Experience with financial software such as 1С/BAS, or other ERP systems
