Junior Software Quality Engineer #

About this role
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and usability of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions while continuously improving our testing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and/or backend systems.
- Identify, document, and track defects.
- Collaborate with internal teams and on-site stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, tools, and standards.
- Validate bug fixes and verify releases before deployment.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and preparing test data.
- Ability to perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong English communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
- Mandarin language skills are an advantage.
- Experience with automated testing is a plus.
