Main responsabilities ...
As Maintenance Technician you will be taking care of ad-hoc tasks and providing ongoing maintenance support to the building.
- Making sure that all areas and facilities of the house are up to the highest maintenance status
- Performing painting and repairing of walls, furniture, cabinets, windows, locks and keys
- Performing electrical and mechanical repairs
- Performing repairs on fans and air conditioning
- Performing routine plumbing repairs
- Performing carpentry work
- Documenting work accomplished and closely liaising with the Maintenance Manager on projects
- Being aware and observing safety precautions and fire safety procedures and emergency action plans
We are looking for someone who has
- Previous experience in maintenance (is a big plus) preferably in hotels
- Background as a carpenter and electrician is preferred
- Should have experience in volume and high pressure operations
- You are flexible to work on weekends and evenings
- Ability to consistently maintain positive vendor and employee relationships
- Strong verbal communication in English
