Maintenance Technician - Soho House Amsterdam

We’re looking for a skilled and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team at Soho House Amsterdam. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring that the House, its facilities, and all guest areas are maintained to the highest standards, supporting a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for both members and staff.

You’ll handle a wide variety of ad-hoc tasks and planned maintenance work, working closely with the Maintenance Manager to keep operations running smoothly across the House.

Main responsibilities

• Ensuring all areas and facilities meet high maintenance standards
• Painting and repairing walls, furniture, cabinets, windows, locks, and keys
• Carrying out electrical and mechanical repairs
• Performing repairs on fans and air conditioning units
• Completing routine plumbing repairs
• Supporting carpentry work as required
• Documenting completed work and liaising closely with the Maintenance Manager
• Following safety procedures, fire safety regulations, and emergency action plans at all times

What we’re looking for

• Previous maintenance experience (hotel or hospitality background is a strong plus)
• Background in carpentry and/or electrical work preferred
• Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced environments
• Flexible availability for evenings and weekends
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and colleagues
• Strong verbal communication skills in English
