Purpose

Divergent is a technology company, based in Los Angeles, on a mission to revolutionize manufacturing with its proprietary Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS™). We automate the design, manufacture, and assembly of complex structures using non-design specific software, additive manufacturing, and robotic assembly. We actively work with major Automotive OEMS and Aerospace Primes globally, addressing the automotive, aerospace, aviation, transportation, and agricultural industries.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Master Data Management Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and executing data governance practices while maintaining high-quality, reliable master data across enterprise systems. You will partner cross-functionally with Business Development, Data, Operations, Productions, and Engineering teams to define data standards, enforce governance rules, and ensure alignment of master data across ERP, PLM, MES, and other downstream platforms.

The role will support and help shape the future-state ownership model for key data domains including items, vendor, customers, and operational data by partnering with stakeholders to assess current processes, identify gaps, and build the case for centralized master data management. You will contribute to data standardization efforts, naming conventions, and critical data quality controls while helping guide the organization toward scalable governance practices. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Data & Process Management.

The Role

  • Evaluate current-state master data processes and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve data quality, consistency, and governance across enterprise systems.
  • Support the evolution of master data management capabilities by contributing to frameworks, operating models, and recommendations that enable future centralization of key data domains.
  • Drive data quality initiatives by establishing validation rules, monitoring critical attributes, and managing exception reporting to improve accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage and support data governance intake and workflow processes, ensuring proper tracking, approvals, and visibility of data-related requests and issues.
  • Develop and maintain data governance artifacts including data dictionaries, attribute definitions, naming conventions, and documentation repositories to support transparency and standardization.
  • Enable reporting and decision making by monitoring dashboards, metrics, and insights that highlight risks, trends, and opportunities for continuous improvement across the organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls 
  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields such as Information Systems, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Data Analytics.
  • 4+ years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM), including hands-on experience with maintaining and improving data quality across key domains (e.g., item, vendor, customer, or operational data)
  • Experience supporting data governance initiatives, including defining data standards, business rules, data ownership, and participating in governance processes or frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects or initiatives, including managing tasks, timelines, stakeholders, and cross-functional communication.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion, SAP, or similar platforms while understanding system impacts with PLM and MES environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, particularly in areas related to item master, BOM (Bill of Materials), inventory, purchasing, or supply chain data.
  • Hands-on experience supporting data governance practices, including working with data standards, data quality frameworks, and governance workflows.
  • Demonstrated project coordination or project management experience, with the ability to support cross-functional initiatives, manage timelines, and drive deliverables to completion.
  • Experience working with PLM and MES environments, with an understanding of how product and operational data integrates across systems.
  • Familiarity with data governance or workflow tools (e.g., Jira, data cataloging tools, or similar tools) to support intake, tracking, and issue resolution processes.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, with the ability to query, analyze, and validate data to support data quality and reporting efforts.

 

Pay Range
$95,400—$156,729 USD
