As a Mechanic, your key responsibilities will be to perform routine maintenance and DOT inspections, diagnose and repair trucks and heavy equipment, and ensure company fleet and equipment operate safely and efficiently.

What it takes?

  • 5+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing light-duty vehicles, heavy trucks, and construction equipment, or equivalent formal training
  • Experience performing routine maintenance and annual DOT inspections on fleet vehicles
  • Ability to diagnose and repair equipment ranging from pickup trucks to semi trucks and heavy earth moving
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one
  • Basic computer skills for fleet tracking and maintenance documentation
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver tools and equipment and perform physical tasks required of mechanical work
  • Ability to work based out of the Missoula, MT shop with intermittent travel
