The role 

We are looking for an Operations Excellence Manager to drive enterprise wide process standardisation, data driven continuous improvements, and strategic scalability to meet customer demands. This will be a leadership role within our Data Center organization. This team includes Data Center Operations, Construction, and Design Engineering. 

You’re welcome to work in our office in Amsterdam. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and process mapping to optimize operations, supply chain, maintenance, and incident response; conduct audits, root-cause analyses, and post implementation reviews.
  • Develop global KPIs, dashboards, SOPs/EOPs/MOPs, and training programs; implement automation, AI/ML for predictive maintenance, and PDCA cycles for continuous uptime (99.999%+).
  • Oversee budgeting, vendor relations, construction commissioning, risk/compliance (ISO, SOC, ESG), and cross-site standardization; advise on capex/opex efficiencies and customer SLAs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, foster a culture of excellence, and report to executives on metrics like OEE, scrap/rework reduction, and financial impacts. 

Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Bachelor's/Master's in engineering (electrical/mechanical); PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, or PE license preferred; 8-15+ years in critical facilities, 5+ in leadership.
  • Proficiency in DCIM/CMMS tools, BMS, data analytics, ERP; deep knowledge of MEP systems (UPS, gensets, chillers, HVAC), regulatory standards, and hyperscale topologies.
  • Strategic mindset for innovation (digital twins, sustainability); excellent stakeholder management across regions/time zones, matching your multisite experience.
