Ohio University Hillel is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and friendly professional to support our day-to-day operations, from coordinating orders for student leaders and staff to managing our building and social media calendars. You will ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and with a high level of care, while contributing to a positive work environment and staff culture. You must have excellent administrative skills and be approachable, personable, and sensitive to the needs of others. This position is an excellent entry (or re-entry!) point to Hillel and Jewish communal work or non-profit management for someone who is passionate about the behind-the-scenes work that goes into building thriving communities. Join our small and scrappy three-person team, reporting directly to the Executive Director.
Hillel at Ohio University was first established in the late 1930s and has a rich history of serving the approximately 350 Jewish students on campus and the Athens Jewish community. Ohio University is in Athens, OH, approximately 75 miles from Columbus, OH. Ohio University draws students from across Ohio and the eastern seaboard seeking a high-quality education in a beautiful rural campus setting.
