Paid Media Consultant --Contractor/Freelance

About this role

FoundryCo. is seeking a Paid Media Coordinator (contractor/freelancer) for 20-40 hours per week, with an initial commitment of at least three months. This is a U.S.-based remote role reporting to the Audience Engagement Manager.

This position is focused on activating and amplifying both brand editorial and client-sponsored content across paid media channels, including search, social, and display. The role requires a strong balance between driving efficient PPC performance and delivering high-quality audience engagement, including traffic and conversions.

Key responsibilities include onboarding campaigns, managing setup, and continuously monitoring and optimizing a high volume of campaigns running simultaneously across multiple global markets.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with proven experience in paid digital advertising (B2B. Strong writing skills, clear communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively are essential, along with comfort operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with a high level of accountability.

Specific Responsibilities:

  •  Collect campaign assets and cross-communicate with content strategists, designers, analysts, project managers and sales teams
  •  Execute paid social media campaigns and initiatives across Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube
  •  Build and nurture pay-per-click (PPC) ad campaigns via content recommendation engine (CRE) to drive traffic and increase clickthrough rates (CTRs) to content
  •  Analyze media performance via Tableau reporting platform and optimize for performance (output and expense)
  •  Forecast and implement media strategies and budgets
  •  Collaborate with art directors/designers to review client assets and provide creative direction  Write copy for paid ads

Required Capabilities:

  •  1-3 years working with paid social ads and media budgets
  •  Experience with ad management platforms; preferably Sprinklr, Meta/Facebook Ads Manager, X/Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Taboola, Outbrain, Google Ads, YouTube Ads
  •  Strong copywriting and editing skills
  •  Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  •  Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and quickly process information
  •  Accountability for performance-based results

Desired Capabilities:

  •  Familiar with custom audiences and retargeting on social channels
  •  Ad agency, marketing, account management, and/or client services experience preferred
  •  Ideally worked in tech or digital media industries
  •  Excellent written communication skills

  •  Organized and a sharp eye for detail
