Team mission

Supply Marketing turns suppliers into long-term partners by owning the B2B marketing funnel from first touch to loyalty — exciting, engaging, and enabling them to grow with us. For example, we run joint campaigns with top suppliers and promote them across a mix of internal and external marketing channels. By providing exposure and helping suppliers with their business needs, these campaigns are a powerful way for GetYourGuide to strengthen strategic relationships and can be leveraged to negotiate better commercial terms.

We’re looking for a Partnerships Lead, NEA with a strong emphasis on Japan (and surrounding markets such as China, South Korea, and Taiwan depending on scope). This role sits at the intersection of B2B partner marketing, strategic supplier growth, and cross-functional execution, with a focus on building high-impact programs for priority suppliers and navigating the unique needs of the Japanese market.

A core part of the role is owning the destination / DMO partnership motion in Japan: securing external sponsorship funding and translating destination partnerships into measurable growth (GMV uplift and accelerated supply onboarding), leveraging tourism boards and public-sector stakeholders as strategic multipliers for GetYourGuide.

This is a senior individual contributor role with high ownership, visibility, and partner-facing responsibility.

Your mission

  • Own the NEA supply marketing strategy with a strong focus on Japan — adapting global supply marketing strategy to local market dynamics, partner needs, and growth priorities.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with top attractions, tour operators, and key ecosystem stakeholders — including government agencies / destination bodies / tourism boards where relevant.
  • Develop and manage a destination/DMO partnership pipeline to secure external sponsorship support that subsidizes customer acquisition and drives GMV volume for GetYourGuide.
  • Create, pitch, negotiate, and execute joint marketing initiatives (e.g., co-marketing campaigns, seasonal demand pushes, product launches, always-on visibility packages), ensuring win-win outcomes for GetYourGuide and partners.
  • Partner closely with Sales / Supply leadership to support supplier acquisition and development efforts — using marketing and destination partnerships as levers to unlock strategic relationships, improved commercial terms, and faster onboarding pathways.
  • Convert destination partner relationships into scalable supply acceleration (e.g., one-to-many onboarding initiatives, warm introductions, whitelists, and partner-enabled lead generation).
  • Lead end-to-end program execution by working cross-functionally with campaign managers and internal marketing teams to deliver initiatives on time and to a high quality bar.
  • Develop high-impact narratives and presentations — translating partner goals into compelling proposals supported by clear value propositions and measurable outcomes.
  • Track performance and iterate: define success metrics, report on results, and continuously improve programs based on insights and partner feedback.

Your toolkit

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, partnerships, business development, sales, supplier/account management, or strategic programs (agency experience considered if you’ve led complex partner programs).
  • Fluent in Japanese and English. You can confidently present, negotiate, and build trust in Japanese business settings.
  • Critical: hands-on experience working with Japanese businesses in Japan (not only with overseas branches). You understand local business norms, relationship-building, decision-making processes, and the nuances/unspoken rules—especially in public-sector contexts.
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling partner marketing programs (co-marketing, joint business plans, go-to-market initiatives, partner enablement, etc.).
  • Highly preferred: experience working with government agencies, tourism boards, municipalities, public-sector bodies, or similar — ideally involving procurement processes, formal partnerships, tenders, or multi-stakeholder governance.
  • Commercially sharp and outcome-driven: comfortable building a pipeline, negotiating funding/value exchange with senior stakeholders, and translating partnerships into measurable growth outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder management: you can align Sales, Marketing, Product, and Ops around shared outcomes.
  • Strategic (think 6+ months ahead) but hands-on and execution-oriented.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and storytelling skills; comfortable influencing without authority.
  • Analytical and impact-driven: you care about measurable outcomes and can translate insights into action.
  • Familiarity with the Japan travel / attractions / tours landscape is a strong advantage.

Extras that give you an edge

  • Experience in digital marketing (paid, CRM, onsite merchandising, performance measurement) and/or brand marketing.
  • Experience with enterprise-level attractions (museums, observation decks, theme parks), transportation-linked experiences, or large tour operators.
  • Experience operating across multiple NEA markets beyond Japan.

How we’ll make your career journey extraordinary

  • Annual personal growth budget and mentorship programs for continuous learning and development
  • Work from anywhere in the world for 30 days per year
  • A hybrid working approach with three days of in office collaboration (Mon, Tue, Thur) and two days of optional at home focus time.
  • Opportunities to collaborate and socialize with team members through quarterly team events and yearly company-wide events
  • Monthly transportation and fitness budget
  • Discounts for you, your friends, and family on GetYourGuide activities
  • Language reimbursement program
  • Health and wellness benefits

And more…
