You will join a professional finance team responsible for ensuring accurate accounting, compliance with local regulations, and transparent financial reporting. The team works closely with management, HR, auditors, banks, and external partners, including international counterparties. We value accuracy, responsibility, and continuous improvement.
Challenges that await you:
- Full-cycle payroll processing for 250+ employees
- Performing monthly and annual closing
- Preparing and submitting tax reports (Form 200.00), reports to the and Statutory statistical reports for the company
- Astana Hub report
- Processing bank payments
- Monitoring trial balance, turnovers, and balances related to payroll
- Preparing the management report such as staff costs
- Preparing data and supporting external and internal audits
Payroll responsibilities:
- Payroll calculation and payment for non-residents and remote employees
- Calculation and payment of vacation pay, sick leave, and compensations
- Calculation and reporting of payroll taxes and social contributions
- Calculation of vacation and salary reserves
- Reconciliation of payroll data with HR records and personnel documentation
What makes you a great fit:
- 3+ years of experience as a payroll Accountant
- Strong knowledge of tax and labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan
- Hands-on experience with 1C (including 1C ZUP)
- Proven experience in period closing and audit preparation
- English language proficiency sufficient for work communication
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently
- English language proficiency at B1 level or higher to communicate effectively with an international team
