Project Description

The project focuses on improving a core API platform for automated loan decisioning. The system is built with PHP and is being enhanced and modernized to improve scalability, performance, and automation.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and efficient cloud-native services;
• Enhance and support API systems to improve decisioning automation;
• Collaborate with the team to modernize and evolve the current platform;
• Drive architecture and technical decisions aligned with business goals;
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems;

Job Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software development;
• Strong experience with PHP;
• Experience designing and building scalable, high-performance systems;
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure;
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science;
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
• Knowledge of English from Upper-Intermediate (written and spoken);
• Availability to work during US EST hours (up to 7 PM EST when required);

Nice to have:

• Experience with relational (MSSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases;
• Experience with microservices and backend development using Java, Spring Boot, OpenAPI, or Python;
• Experience in the financial industry;
• Experience working in Agile environments and leading Agile teams;
