For one of our major global banking clients, we are looking for a Platform Engineer II to join the GRDM Juggernaut Squad. You will have end-to-end responsibility for the Global Reference Data Management (GRDM) platform, a critical component that ensures consistent reference data adoption across bank-wide data management and payment flows.
What you’ll do
- Own the full lifecycle: Refine user stories, develop solutions, and monitor software in production.
- Operational Excellence: Handle deployments, Life Cycle Management (LCM), and risk evidencing.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Manage change and incident support, perform troubleshooting, and join the standby/on-call schedule for support outside office hours.
- Manage Access: Support a web-based solution for data management, file-based distributions, and API-based retrieval.
- Scale the Platform: Work within a multidisciplinary Business DevOps squad to maintain a trusted source of record for bank-wide reference data.
What we’re looking for
- Core Technical Skills: At least 1 year of experience with Linux/Shell scripting, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- CI/CD & Observability: Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Backlogs, Pipelines, Repo) and monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
- Network & Security: Proficiency in network and security configurations, specifically SSL/TLS.
- Agile Mindset: Experience in a corporate DevOps/Scrum environment with a passion for problem-solving.
- Communication: Excellent English skills to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
- Soft Skills: A multitasking team player who works well under pressure and handles operational tasks with precision.
- NL residency (no sponsorship).
Tooling: Linux, Ansible, K8s, Azure DevOps, Grafana, Prometheus, SSL/TLS.
Nice to have
- Java Background: Experience with Java-based environments.
- Databases & Automation: Knowledge of Oracle or Universal Automation Center.
- Governance: An IT Risk background.
