Product Owner Solver (Mathematical Programming)

As Product Owner for Mathematical Programming, you are responsible for defining and driving the product direction of our optimization engine within our planning platform. You ensure that this capability evolves in line with company priorities, while serving a diverse customer base across multiple industries with varying optimization needs. You capture market needs, formulate value propositions, and translate these insights into product requirements.

You are responsible for:

• Defining a clear product vision and positioning for mathematical programming.
• Translating company strategy into a coherent roadmap, balancing maintenance, performance improvements, and future evolution.
• Acting as the single point of accountability for product decisions, ensuring clarity, consistency, and transparency in scope and priorities.
• Engaging with customers and internal stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
• Clearly articulating the “why” and “why now” behind product decisions to align stakeholders and the development squad.
• Contributing to pre-sales and customer engagements where deep understanding of the domain is required.
• Working closely with the development squad to refine, prioritize, and clarify backlog items to ensure effective delivery.
