Why we're hiring: 

We seek a Product Owner to support agile delivery for WPP Open, our AI-powered marketing platform. You'll translate product vision into actionable deliverables, collaborating with engineers, designers, and data scientists to bring AI-driven marketing solutions to life. 

About Open Experience: In this team, you will empower users to navigate, drive action, and stay informed everywhere, delivering an intuitive, unified experience across all Open channels.

 

What you'll be doing: 

Reporting to the Director Product Ownership, WPP Open, you will: 

  • Facilitate end-to-end agile delivery of specific features/epics within the WPP Open roadmap, collaborating with delivery and engineering. 
  • Partner with engineering throughout the product lifecycle, helping to remove roadblocks and ensuring technical feasibility. 
  • Collaborate with Product Leadership to translate overall product vision/strategy into detailed, executable plans. 
  • Define, write, and refine detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for features, aligning with product vision. 
  • Manage and maintain a prioritised product backlog, reflecting strategy, stakeholder feedback, and development capacity. 
  • Conduct market and customer analysis for features to inform requirements and ensure user value. 
  • Stay abreast of emerging AI/ML and marketing technology trends to inform feature development. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, relevant stakeholders) to define epics and user stories. 
  • Validate, prioritise, and integrate new product requests into the backlog, ensuring alignment. 
  • Participate in the validation and design of new product ideas at the feature level. 
  • Support the alignment of feature roadmaps and dependency management with other product teams. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the development team, providing clarity on requirements. 

 

What you'll need: 

  • Relevant experience as a Product Owner, focused on agile delivery for SaaS platforms. 
  • Ability to translate product strategy into actionable backlogs and support agile development teams. 
  • Understanding of AI/ML and marketing technology trends, particularly for feature development. 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills; experience in user research and competitive analysis at the feature level. 
  • Skills in backlog management, writing user stories, and prioritisation. 
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements. 
  • Certified Agile Product Owner or equivalent practical experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
