Accenture Federal Services is looking for an experienced Project Manager to drive and deliver customer cloud solutions for DoD clients in the Salt Lake City, UT area. This position is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects in government missions. This includes managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and performance. The Project Manager coordinates cross-functional teams, oversees financial and contractual commitments, and drives operational excellence across the project lifecycle from development to sustainment.

What you’ll do:

  • Project Planning & Execution
    • Develop and execute end-to-end project management activities across the full project lifecycle
    • Define project scope in collaboration with key stakeholders and establish clear milestones and deliverables
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, dependencies, and resource allocations
    • Manage the transition of projects from development to production
    • Ensure all dependencies are identified and represented in support of customer roadmap in support of the mission
  • Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
    • Coordinate activities of platform resources to ensure effective execution and delivery
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the portfolio to implement improvements and drive operational efficiencies
    • Coordinate with key stakeholders including System Owners, Technical Points of Contact (POCs), ISSM, SCA, and other program partners in support of system health
    • Communicate planned maintenance activities and outages
    • Field and manage new customer requirements, ensuring alignment with program objectives
  • Financial & Contractual Management
    • Support management of financial, contractual, and operational commitments
    • Monitor and manage project budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility
    • Provide management oversight and support to assigned resources
  • Performance Monitoring & Risk Management
    • Monitor delivery performance and quality using defined metrics and status reporting
    • Track and report project progress to leadership and stakeholders
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks in accordance with the project plan
    • Manage issue resolution to minimize schedule and operational impacts
    • Ensure alignment with key stakeholders within the government program office

What you’ll need:

  • 5 years of experience managing complex projects in a government, defense, or technical environment
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, systems integration, or enterprise IT environments
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, and cross-functional teams

Bonus points if you have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification
  • Cloud Platform certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect)
  • Agile/Scrum Certifications
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a dynamic environment

Clearance:

  • Must have an active Secret level clearance; TS/SCI eligibility preferred   

 

 

 

 

 

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Accenture Federal Services offers a wide variety of benefits. You can find more information on benefits here. We accept applications on an on-going basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.

 

The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:
$90,000—$195,400 USD
