The Cloud Native Tribe delivers a robust, scalable, modern SaaS platform—enabling faster delivery, deeper observability, and seamless client adoption so Xceptor can operate at scale with confidence. The tribe is transitioning to an AI-first PDLC: AI agents draft code, tests, docs, and runbooks; engineers set intent and constraints, verify, and approve to a production bar.
As a Lead QA Engineer - Manager at Xceptor, you are accountable for your team of Lead QA Engineers driving the highest quality and reliability across their assigned tribe and the Xceptor platform. You will also be assigned to manage your own tribe. You partner with product and engineering to align on business, technical, and quality objectives, and lead by example.
Operating as part of a cohesive QA team, you embrace collaboration, shared ownership, and mutual support to deliver consistent, high-impact quality outcomes across the platform.
The leadership aspect of the role will entail line managing your direct reports, supporting their professional growth and ensuring that they meet their individual and team objectives.
A key part of your role is defining and upholding clear quality KPIs that align with business objectives and ensure accountability for measurable results. AI is used daily to accelerate quality initiatives and drive innovation. You also apply platform insights and stakeholder input to enhance end-to-end automation and improve customer satisfaction.
You will be a strong voice for Quality within your tribe, holding them accountable to the highest standards. Challenging tribe members in a tactful and productive way to ensure that an effective quality strategy is implemented and adhered to.
You will spend approximately 30% of your time undertaking data analysis, stakeholder collaboration and implementing new test cases to enhance end-to-end quality, 30% of your time leading your team, 20% of your time driving AI innovation, and 20% supporting and holding your tribe to the highest quality standards.
