Our strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of both companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy in the treatment of multiple myeloma.

 

Legend Biotech is seeking a R&D Novel CAR Intern as part of the Research & Early Development team based in Somerset, NJ.

Role Overview

This position offers hands‑on experience in designing and developing novel CAR constructs or vectors for next‑generation cell therapies. The intern will perform molecular/cellular biology experiments, analyze data, and collaborate across teams to advance early‑stage therapeutic concepts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in evaluating novel CAR constructs/vectors using molecular and cellular techniques.
  • Perform cell culture, transfection, and functional assays to assess CAR/vector performance.
  • Analyze experimental data, maintain accurate records, and present findings to the research team.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to progress early discovery programs.
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of molecular biology, cell culture, and immunology principles.
  • Familiarity with flow cytometry, PCR, ELISA, or other immunoassays a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
