Recruitment Administrator – £28k + Benefits

Location: Maidenhead (Office Based), Occasional travel to Reading, Full time, Permanent.

 

We’re looking for a well organised, people person who will support with the on-going growth of our team.

Playing a key role in the recruitment of future colleagues, you’ll become a key player in our recruitment team.

As well as supporting with administrative duties, you’ll be identifying candidates for our Apprenticeship intakes and working towards taking on more senior roles.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the full recruitment cycle, working closely with the Recruitment Manager, Hiring Managers and the HR team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Apprenticeship Recruitment – Managing candidate applications for our Award-Winning Apprenticeship programme, interviewing candidates, managing the organisation of our Recruitment Days.
  • Job Posting & Candidate Sourcing – Drafting job descriptions, posting vacancies on our company website, Job boards & social media and occasionally attending careers events.
  • Screening & Shortlisting – Reviewing CVs to identify qualified candidates based on the job requirements.
  • Interview Coordination – Scheduling interviews, sending calendar invites via our ATS, preparing interview materials.
  • Candidate Communication – Maintaining contact with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates, answering queries, managing a positive experience and providing interview feedback.
  • Onboarding Support – Assisting with pre-employment checks, verifying employment availability and facilitating Driving Licence Checks.

Additional duties:

  • L&D – Administrative support for our Learning & Development team.
  • HR – Administrative support for our HR team.

About You:

  • Previous administrative experience (Recruitment experience desirable but not essential)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A proactive and positive approach with a willingness to learn
