Risk Data and Modelling Analyst

About this role

We are looking for a Risk Analyst professional who will help design and implement risk models, ensure proper data integration, and support regulatory reporting. The role combines financial risk expertise with strong technical implementation skills

Challenges that await you:

  • Translate risk methodology into technical requirements for model and risk reporting
    implementation
  • Build and maintain risk models (Liquidity Risk, IRRBB, VaR, Capital requirement
    calculations) under guidance
  • Define data requirements and work with Data/IT teams to ensure proper data
    integration into the Data Warehouse (DWH)
  • Extract and prepare data from the DWH for modelling and analysis
  • Develop calculations in Excel and/or Python and automate model runs where
    possible
  • Ensure models produce consistent outputs and that results can be uploaded into
    reporting systems
  • Perform data quality checks, reconciliations, and validation of results
  • Support continuous improvement of risk modelling processes and automation

What makes you a great fit:

  • Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, PivotTables, working with large datasets)
  • Python skills (data manipulation, calculations, automation)
  • Understanding of banking and financial risks (liquidity risk, interest rate risk, VaR, etc.)
  • Ability to work with DWH data and basic/intermediate SQL
  • Experience defining data requirements and working with IT/data teams.
  • SQL, Python, Tableau as a plus

Nice to have

  • Experience with IRRBB, liquidity risk, ALM or market risk
  • Experience with regulatory reporting
