At Soho House, a Room Service Operator is responsible for ensuring the consistency, quality and efficiency of all food and beverage service plus amenities for the guest and rooms. This is a hands-on, member-facing role requiring attention to detail, excellent customer service, and strong organisational skills.

Key Duties...
- Take and process all room service orders promptly and accurately, ensuring clear communication with kitchen and service teams.
- Maintain knowledge of all food, drink, and amenity offerings to confidently guide guest choices and upsell where appropriate.
- Coordinate delivery times with floor teams to ensure timely service and exceptional presentation.
- Follow up on guest requests and feedback to ensure satisfaction and resolution of any issues.
- Ensure all telephone and digital communications are handled in a warm, professional, and efficient manner.
- Keep the room service area, phone system, and service records organised and up to date.
- Work closely with the kitchen, reception, housekeeping, and concierge teams to ensure smooth communication across departments.
- Support the wider F&B team when required and uphold Soho House standards at all times.
What we are looking for...
- Up to 1-2 years’ experience in a busy hospitality venue, ideally from a room service background
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships (internal and external)
- Strong attention to details
- Excellent customer service
- Fluent in English
- Organised and reliable
- Ability to work and maximize relationships within a diverse team
- Computer literacy within Opera, Micros and Open Table are advantageous
Physical Requirements:
- Must be over the age of 18
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by hand
- Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
- Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required
