The work

You will lead the S/4HANA Plan to Stock (P2S) Functional Business Process capability for the organization. Develops and implements an integrated S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solution design, encompassing the entire lifecycle from demand forecasting and master scheduling to production execution and quality management. The SAP P2S Lead works with key stakeholders to understand requirements, design business processes for lean manufacturing and inventory optimization, and provide S/4HANA P2S technology solutions. You will lead the build and ongoing maintenance of the process capability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate functional team activities across Demand Management, MRP, Production Planning (PP), and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) workstreams
  • Provide guidance and direction to the functional team, ensuring alignment with MRP Live performance and real-time inventory visibility within the Universal Journal
  • Oversee the implementation of SAP P2S solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements for production throughput, lead-time reduction, and shop-floor efficiency
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (Production Managers and Supply Chain Planners) to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, focusing on the "Forecast-to-Finish" cycle
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, leveraging SAP Fiori for the Monitor Material Coverage and Manage Production Orders apps
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks related to Master Data integrity (BOMs, Routings, and Work Centers) and production cutover strategies
  • Ensure adherence to Accenture delivery methodology, promoting efficient and effective project delivery
  • Facilitate communication between teams, ensuring seamless integration between P2S and the Procure to Pay (P2P) team for raw material availability and the Order to Cash (O2C) team for finished goods fulfillment
  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting skill growth in areas like Advanced ATP, Demand-Driven MRP (DDMRP), and Quality Management (QM) integration
  • Stay informed about SAP updates (such as Digital Manufacturing Cloud or IBP enhancements) and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement in supply chain resilience

Here’s what you need

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP project management, demonstrating a deep understanding of SAP PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), and S/4HANA supply chain solutions
  • Proven leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex manufacturing transformations or global supply chain deployments
  • In-depth knowledge of delivery methodologies and practices (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with Chief Supply Chain Officers, Plant Managers, and technical architects
  • Proficiency in project planning, resource allocation, and risk management specific to manufacturing environments and inventory valuation
  • Ability to align SAP P2S project goals with broader business objectives, such as reducing carrying costs and increasing On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery
  • Experience in mentoring and developing team members to enhance their functional configuration and shop-floor process knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement, such as implementing predictive maintenance triggers or automated production backflushing
  • Familiarity with SAP tools and technologies (e.g., S/4HANA, IBP, and Fiori), as well as a commitment to staying updated on industry trends

  • Must be eligible to obtain a government Secret Clearance
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:
$148,800—$306,500 USD
