Your role in our team is:

bit.bio is seeking a Scientific Marketing Manager to drive commercial growth and build brand authority across drug discovery and toxicology markets by combining scientific expertise with strategic marketing. This position will lead the creation of high-impact content and targeted, multi-channel campaigns that generate high-quality leads, while enabling sales teams, delivering international events and optimising marketing investment to maximise ROI.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Produce high-quality application notes, white papers, technical datasheets, and case studies that communicate complex product features to expert audiences and engage leads through to conversion.
  • Produce content and campaigns designed to generate leads for services, and ensure their distribution in the market to maximise awareness.
  • Plan and participate in the launch of new services and products.
  • Develop and refine the unique market positioning and technical messaging for toxicology and toxicity markets, establishing bit.bio products as the gold standard for drug discovery and safety profiling.
  • Build and manage automated email workflows and digital journeys to transition cold leads (e.g., from international conferences) into sales-ready prospects.
  • Lead the planning and execution of customer-focused campaigns, leveraging webinars, digital ads, and social media to drive lead generation for both products and service offerings.
  • Coordinate with the demand generation team to ensure activities are cross-coordinated with marketing automation programmes and content delivery. 
  • Work with key vendors to execute joint marketing activities (webinars, cross-promotions) to expand reach and lower cost per lead.
  • Provide the field team and sales departments with the sales enablement tools, technical literature, and exhibition collateral required to close high-value deals at international events.
  • Monitor marketing spend and campaign performance in real-time, ensuring maximum ROI on digital and third-party placements.
  • Coordinate and support with the initiation, organisation and execution of events, exhibitions, webinars, conferences and seminars, including the production of collateral.

  • Will have a minimum BSc in Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology or related life science subjects (or equivalent experience). 

With essential experience in…

  • Proven experience in a product marketing or marketing communications role within the biotech or pharmaceutical sector, specifically targeting expert/scientific audiences.
  • A strong portfolio of written work, including application notes, white papers, and technical case studies that demonstrate an ability to translate complex data into compelling marketing narratives.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, or Salesforce) and building automated lead-nurture workflows.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing integrated campaigns across webinars, digital ads, and social media with a focus on lead generation and ROI.
  • Experience in the high-level coordination of international scientific conferences, trade shows, and seminars, including both logistical planning and collateral production.
  • Familiarity with the drug discovery funnel, including an understanding of how to support sales teams with enablement tools to close high-value deals.

  • Recognised marketing qualifications e.g. (CIM) or specialised training in Digital Marketing, Content Marketing and/or Marketing Automation.
  • MSc or PhD in a Life Sciences discipline.
