Senior Backend / Full-stack Developer (.NET & Azure)

For our client, we are looking for a versatile Senior Developer to join high-impact teams (such as OSI, Omega, or the GenAI Incubator). In this role, you will bridge the gap between experimental prototypes and enterprise-grade production systems, helping accelerate the journey toward digital excellence and fossil freedom.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain scalable, cloud-native backend services using .NET and Microsoft Azure.
• Own features from discovery and design to development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Contribute to high-level architectural decisions, balancing business value with technical excellence, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Implement robust messaging architectures using Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, or Kafka to ensure efficient system communication.
• Collaborate with incubator teams to take Generative AI proof-of-concepts into scalable production environments.
• Champion best practices in code quality, security, and performance while sharing knowledge to help colleagues grow.

What we’re looking for

• At least 7 to 10+ years of experience in backend development with a deep mastery of the .NET ecosystem (C# / .NET Core).
• Hands-on experience with Azure services, including Functions, Container Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault, and App Insights.
• 2+ years of front-end experience (preferably Angular) and a willingness to contribute across the entire stack when needed.
• Strong familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• A proactive communicator who can align with both technical squads and non-technical stakeholders.
• No sponsorship is available, and candidates must already reside in the Netherlands.
