What’s The Role

Reporting to the Enterprise Systems Manager, you will play a vital role in aligning technological solutions with our global goals. This is more than a standard analysis role; you will be instrumental in establishing a highly effective Analysis and Design function within the Bradken IT team. From our Brisbane office, you will lead and mentor a specialized team of three: a Technical Writer, a Process and Change Analyst, and an Automation Specialist, serving as the cornerstone for our international delivery model.

Your mission is to act as the primary bridge between complex business needs and technical execution. You will be the strategic voice that evaluates high-value requests to ensure they translate into real-time business value. By mastering requirements and documentation, you will challenge the status quo to ensure that what we build is exactly what the global manufacturing team needs to succeed.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Requirements Discovery: Dive into current projects to identify, document, and validate requirements.
  • Drive Practice Development: Lead the establishment of the analysis and design team within Bradken IT, setting the standards for documentation, testing, and requirement capture.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops and interviews with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to balance competing priorities.
  • Financial Oversight: Lead project work while keeping a sharp eye on CAPEX and OPEX spend.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and coach, your direct reports in India, ensuring high-quality output and professional development.

 

What You Bring

  • Experience: 5-10 years of Business Analysis experience in complex or global environments. Previous Experience as a lead BA and/or project management will be highly valuable and preferred.
  • Technical Mastery: Expert-level skills in creating BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, and process maps.
  • Communication: Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage global cross-functional relationships.
  • Agile Mindset: Tertiary qualifications in IT or Computer Science, paired with highly regarded certifications in Agile/Scrum or project delivery.
