Maven is looking for a Senior Consultant Growth Manager, who will report to the Head of Growth Enablement & Strategic Alliances, and be accountable for converting the consultant-influenced pipeline to sales. This role will build strategies for their territory and core consulting firm relationships, create pipeline, progress deals and drive bookings with a particular focus on labor and public sector markets. Success is measured by pipeline, win-rates and closed booking, with targets aligned to company growth goals.

As a Senior Consultant Growth Manager at Maven, you will:

  • Accountable to achieving individual pipeline goal: Originate and qualify new opportunities through consultant networks including those serving labor and public sector clients
  • Advance deals to close: Partner with Sales to shape deal strategy and influence consultant recommendations, achieving win rate target
  • Own and execute engagement strategy within priority firms: Expand access to key stakeholders across assigned accounts, deepen relationships, and unlock new pathways to advance active opportunities,  including within labor and public sector consultant channels
  • Lead escalation for key accounts through resolution: Maintain strong relationships and partner with Sales and Client Success to protect revenue and drive strategic upsell opportunities.
  • Apply targeted enablement to drive deals: Deliver focused, deal-specific messaging and leverage internal resources (e.g., product, clinical) to strengthen positioning in active opportunities, tailoring approaches for labor and public sector buyer needs
  • Demonstrate deep product and market expertise: Clearly articulate competitive differentiation and position Maven effectively with consultant stakeholders to support deal progression. Expectation is to be able to pitch all of Maven’s products, including MMB, with the ability to adapt positioning for labor and public sector audiences
  • Adapt messaging to win in-market opportunities: Identify gaps or objections in the field and incorporate learnings into deal strategy and positioning to improve conversion outcomes
  • Develop deal-specific materials as needed: Create or tailor targeted content (e.g., one-pagers, presentations) to support active opportunities and advance deals, labor and public sector stakeholders
  • Track performance: Own accurate reporting of consultant-influenced pipeline, bookings, and conversion metrics in Salesforce

We’re looking for you to bring:

  • 7-10+ years of experience with deep expertise in the employer benefits ecosystem and a strong network of broker and consultant relationships, including exposure to labor and/or public sector segments
  • Proven ability to own and grow strategic relationships with senior stakeholders to create and advance deal pipeline 
  • Track record of driving complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives independently and delivering against business goals
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making and position Maven effectively
  • Ability to translate product and clinical value into clear, compelling messaging for external stakeholders
  • Experience working cross-functionally to align teams and drive outcomes
  • Operates effectively in fast-paced environments, bringing structure and improving processes where needed
  • Preferred qualifications: 
    • Background in and/or passion for working in family health
    • Experience operating within Salesforce or similar CRM to manage pipeline and performance

The base salary range for this role is $148,000 - $235,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.

This role requires active work authorization in the US.

Maven embraces a flexible hybrid work model. This role is open to candidates based in the New York Metropolitan area, or remote from within the US. For those in our New York City office, we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to work onsite three days a week  (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). This policy aims to balance remote work flexibility with the benefits of face-to-face interaction.
